Curcumin is the natural yellow pigment found in turmeric, with a long history of use in food and traditional herbal preparations. It has been widely studied for its biological activity, though its role in the body remains under ongoing scientific evaluation.
Standard curcumin is poorly absorbed by the body in its conventional form, largely due to how quickly it breaks down during digestion. Our Liposomal Curcumin uses NF Lipo® delivery technology, encapsulating the compound within a phospholipid structure derived from non-GMO sunflower lecithin. This structure is designed to protect curcumin as it moves through digestion, improving its absorption relative to standard curcumin.
