Mannose is a naturally occurring sugar in the human body. It can be found in fruits like cranberries, apples, and oranges. Studies have shown that D-Mannose can help prevent urinary tract infections and reduce the risk of recurrence of UTI in women. Since the antibiotic resistance of UTI pathogens has increased significantly, research has shown that D-Mannose can be used as an alternative to antibiotics.
