In the summer we have observed a few unique changes in behavior with our shipping companies and customers which add to headaches. So we wanted to pass along these tips to help keep your supplement supplies coming without unnecessary hiccups.
Shipping Networks Are Impacted
Because the proud people who ship our parcels also take vacations, we have noticed that in July and August a new shadow team takes over temporarily while the experienced staff go on vacation. The result is more mistakes: packages sent to the wrong place, given to neighbors without leaving a note, dropped off at pick-up shops that are way out of the way.
Customers Underestimate the Delivery Timeline Right Before a Vacation
Sometimes it is hard to predict exactly when a package will arrive at your door. But if you have a flight in the next two weeks, it is best to check with us when you place your order. If we know when your flight is we can provide you some options: send it express, send it to a neighbor, or send it to your vacation address.
Ordering to Hotels
Hotels are notoriously bad at receiving shipped packages, especially when those packages are coming from across the border. Our advice: send to a nearby pick-up shop of your choice, and contact the shop ahead of time to confirm they will be open and able to receive your package.
