NMN is a precursor to NAD+, a molecule that plays a role in modifying cellular aging. NAD+ prevents DNA damage and is associated with slowed aging processes, proper gene expression, improved muscle function, increased energy levels, and increased insulin action. NMN supplementation is clinically proven to boost NAD+ blood levels. Our NMN is formulated with the highest quality ingredients possible and is third-party tested to meet rigorous safety and purity standards.

Nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN) is a molecule that our bodies use to synthesize nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+). NAD+ is used in many metabolic processes and can reverse mitochondrial dysfunction, prevent DNA damage, and extend cellular lifespan.
By middle age, our NAD+ levels have plummeted, and aging itself can compromise the body’s conversion of NMN to NAD+. When taken orally, NMN is rapidly absorbed and converted to NAD+. NMN is naturally found in small amounts in fruits and vegetables, but supplementing with NMN helps make sure you’re getting enough regardless of your diet.
NMN could potentially be used as an anti-aging intervention with a wide array of benefits.
In numerous studies, NMN supplementation has increased NAD+ biosynthesis, suppressed age-related adipose tissue infl ammation, enhanced insulin secretion and insulin action, improved mitochondrial function, improved neuronal function in the brain, and more.
Human studies have shown improved muscle responsiveness and reduced drowsiness in older men; increased energy levels and higher aerobic capacity during exercise; and increased insulin sensitivity and insulin action in prediabetic postmenopausal women.
In rodent studies, NAD+ has been shown to improve metabolic eff ects associated with obesity and aging. These studies also showed NAD+ supports proper SIRT1/2/3/5/6 gene expression, which has a protective eff ect against diabetes, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, atherosclerosis, Alzheimer’s disease, retinal degeneration, and depression.
1. The Science Behind NMN–A Stable, Reliable NAD+ Activator and Anti-Aging Molecule
Results
An increase in intracellular levels of NAD+ triggers shifts that enhance survival, including boosting energy production and upregulating cellular repair. Aging itself is a series of events resulting from a decrease in systemic NAD+, and by middle age NAD+ levels have plummeted by half.
In numerous studies, supplementation with NMN has increased NAD+ biosynthesis, suppressed age-related inflammation, enhanced insulin secretion and action, improved mitochondrial and neuronal function, and more.

2. NAD+ biosynthesis, aging, and disease
Results
Aging is marked by a decrease in NAD+, which is associated with multiple diseases and neurodegenerative disorders. NMN is a crucial precursor and catalyst for NAD+ production. Evidence supports that intervention with NMN can restore the availability of NAD+ and mitigate aging and aging-related health concerns.

3. Nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN) supplementation enhances aerobic capacity in amateur runners: a randomized, double-blind study
Results
Four groups of male and female recreational runners were given either a placebo or 300 mg, 600 mg, or 1200 mg spermidine each day for six weeks. The groups who received NMN saw improved aerobic capacity during exercise.

4. Nicotinamide mononucleotide increases muscle insulin sensitivity in prediabetic women
Results
Overweight or obese postmenopausal women with prediabetes were given NMN supplementation or a placebo in a randomized, double-blind study. After 10 weeks, insulin action and sensitivity increased in the group that received NMN. This effect was not seen in the placebo group.

5. The efficacy and safety of NMN supplementation in healthy middle-aged adults: a randomized, multicenter, double-blind, placebo-controlled, parallel-group, dose-dependent clinical trial
Results
Eighty subjects were given either a placebo or 300 mg, 600 mg, or 900 mg of NMN each day for 60 days. All doses were well tolerated and shown to be safe in humans. Efficacy, as measured by NAD blood concentration and physical performance, peaked in the 600 mg group.

6. Effect of 12-Week Intake of Nicotinamide Mononucleotide on Sleep Quality, Fatigue, and Physical Performance in Older Japanese Adults: A Randomized, Double-Blind Placebo Controlled Study
Results
In a rigorous study of 108 older adult participants, subjects were divided into four groups. Two groups received a placebo, given in the morning or afternoon. The remaining two groups received 250 mg of NMN, given in the morning or afternoon. Those who took NMN showed improved physical performance and reduced drowsiness. The effect was greatest in the group that received NMN in the afternoon.
