Učinkovitost Lions Mane (Levja Griva - Hericium erinaceus)

1. Izboljšanje učinkov gob Yamabushitake (Hericium erinaceus) na blago kognitivno okvaro. 

Udeleženci: 30, Japonci, stari od 50 do 80 let, z diagnozo blage kognitivne okvare.

Metoda: dvojno slepa, paralelna, kontrolirana s placebom. Uživali so 250 mg tablete ekstrakta Lions Mane 3-krat na dan skozi 16 tednov. Meritve so bile opravljene v tednu 4, 8 in 16.

2. Izboljšanje kognitivnih funkcij z oralnim vnosom Hericium erinaceus

Udeleženci: 31, sestavljenih iz 6 moških in 10 žensk v skupini HE ter 5 moških in 10 žensk v skupini s placebom.

Metoda: randomizirana, dvojno slepa, paralelna, kontrolirana s placebom primerjalna študija (RCT), vsi udeleženci so bili naključno razdeljeni v dve skupini: skupina H. erinaceus (HE), ki je uživala štiri HE dodatke na dan, in skupina s placebom, ki je uživala štiri placebo dodatke na dan, ki niso vsebovali HE, skozi 12 tednov.
