Eficacia de la Melena de León (Hericium Erinaceus)

1.Mejora en el deterioro cognitivo leve con el hongo Yamabushitake (Hericium erinaceus).

Sujetos: 30 hombres y mujeres japoneses de 50 a 80 años diagnosticados con un deterioro cognitivo leve.

Método: ensayo doble ciego, de grupos paralelos, controlado con placebo. Tomaron comprimidos de 250 mg de extracto de melena de león 3 veces al día durante 16 semanas. En las semanas 4, 8 y 16 se realizaron pruebas.

2. Mejora de las funciones cognitivas mediante la ingesta de Hericium erinaceus

Sujetos: 31 personas en total, 6 hombres y 10 mujeres en el grupo HE y 5 hombres y 10 mujeres en el grupo placebo.

Método: estudio comparativo de grupos paralelos (ECA), aleatorizado, doble ciego y controlado con placebo. Todos los participantes se dividieron aleatoriamente en dos grupos: el grupo de H. erinaceus (HE) que recibió cuatro suplementos de HE diarios, y el grupo placebo que recibió cuatro suplementos placebo diarios que no contenían HE durante 12 semanas.
