1. Melhoria dos efeitos do cogumelo Yamabushitake (Hericium erinaceus) no défice cognitivo ligeiro.

Sujeitos: 30 homens e mulheres japoneses, com idades compreendidas entre os 50 e os 80 anos, diagnosticados com défice cognitivo ligeiro.

Método: ensaio em duplo-cego, grupo paralelo, controlado por placebo. Tomaram comprimidos de 250 mg de extrato de Lions Mane 3 vezes por dia durante 16 semanas. Nas semanas 4, 8 e 16, foram testados para

2. Melhoria das funções cognitivas através da ingestão oral de Hericium erinaceus

Sujeitos: 31, compostos por 6 homens e 10 mulheres para o grupo HE, e 5 homens e 10 mulheres para o grupo placebo.

Método: estudo comparativo de grupos paralelos, aleatório, em duplo-cego e controlado por placebo (RCT), todos os participantes foram divididos aleatoriamente em dois grupos: o grupo Herinaceus (HE) que tomou quatro suplementos de HE por dia e o grupo placebo que tomou quatro suplementos de placebo por dia que não continham HE durante 12 semanas.
